LEADERSHIP

Pastor Ehmann
Ron and Kathy met in college while they were preparing their lives to serve God. They were married and served as a youth pastor and Christian school teacher for three years. God led them back to the west where they were both raised, to pastor four churches in Wyoming, Nevada, and Utah. They also served a one-year term in South Africa as replacements for a furloughing missionary. Kathy passed away in 2021. Ron also is Director of Northwest Baptist Missions, a church planting organization under which Mountain View Baptist Church has been organized. They have three married children and ten grandchildren.

Pastor Toomer
Bob was raised on a ranch in Colorado. He went to Colorado State University and received a BA in animal science. He returned home after graduation to work with his father on the ranch but God had a new plan. He felt the need to follow the Lord in to the ministry somewhere. He attended Denver Baptist Theological Seminary, where he met his wife, Penny. The college merged with Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa, where Bob received his MDiv degree.
After graduation, he came to Utah to help mission churches. He did not feel called to lead a church personally, but had come to "team up" with senior pastors and help in the ministry of the churches. He has assisted in four different churches and helped to establish a Christian ranch in central Utah during the 34 years he has lived here.
Bob has had the unique opportunity of ministering for over 20 years. He has traveled to various churches, providing an outreach ministry - "The Life Lessons from the Round Pen." This is where he takes an unbroken horse and trains it while making biblical applications. God has greatly used this tool!
Bob and Penny have four children and eight grandchildren.

Pastor Schaaf
Caleb and Rae met at camp and have always had hearts for camp ministry. With the exception of two years in graduate school, Caleb has spent every summer in camp ministry since 2001. While in graduate school, Caleb worked at a Top Ten bank and served as an Undershepherd in Training at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. In the fall of 2017, God led Caleb and Rae back to Utah where Caleb serves as an assistant pastor for Mountain View Baptist Church and as Camp Utibaca's director. Caleb holds an MA in Theology and a bachelor’s degree in Bible, and Rae holds a degree in Finance and Accounting. In December of 2018, Caleb was brought on board as an assistant pastor at Mountain View Baptist Church. They are currently on deputation to raise support as camp missionaries so they can serve in the ministry full time with their four children Adam, Bianca, Cody, and Carson.
