Bob was raised on a ranch in Colorado. He went to Colorado State University and received a BA in animal science. He returned home after graduation to work with his father on the ranch but God had a new plan. He felt the need to follow the Lord in to the ministry somewhere. He attended Denver Baptist Theological Seminary, where he met his wife, Penny. The college merged with Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa, where Bob received his MDiv degree.
After graduation, he came to Utah to help mission churches. He did not feel called to lead a church personally, but had come to "team up" with senior pastors and help in the ministry of the churches. He has assisted in four different churches and helped to establish a Christian ranch in central Utah during the 34 years he has lived here.
Bob has had the unique opportunity of ministering for over 20 years. He has traveled to various churches, providing an outreach ministry - "The Life Lessons from the Round Pen." This is where he takes an unbroken horse and trains it while making biblical applications. God has greatly used this tool!
Bob and Penny have four children and eight grandchildren.
